As you may recall, I’ve had several technical problems with the blog. But I think we’ve finally got them resolved. Blogger has changed the way they do some things which should fix the problem. Unfortunately, about 18 months of posts have been lost. I’m not sure if I am going to be able to recover them or not. I’m not even sure if it is worth the effort. The important thing is the blog is back.

Thumbtack
Wedding and Special Event Photographer This is what my new listing on Thumbtack.com will look like. Not much but hopefully it will get some new leads….
New Web Site
It’s done! I have a new web site. After six weeks of hard work, we finally finished the site and uploaded it on Thursday. Take a moment to check out the new site.
New Website Coming
I’ve been taking a hard look at a lot of details related to Magical Moments Photography. No stone is being left unturned. Recently, I looked at my website and decided it was no longer doing the job it was intended to do. Basically, my photography has outgrown the website. A friend who I asked to critique the site said it is like a Sears store that has all sorts of great new products but still has the old fixtures.
A look at some other photographer’s website confirmed this assessment. So I’ve decided to redo my site. Look for a great new www.mmpix.com in the coming months. I know what I want it to look like. Now I just have to make it happen. All of this while I gear up for the upcoming wedding season.
New Look fpr the website
For those of you who have been to my website, www.mmpix.com, you might have noticed the new look. Well, I have just completed updating the blog to have the same look. I hope you like it. If you have not been to my website lately, there are some new features and more to come.
Naperville
Earlier today I drove down to Naperville to meet with some prospective clients. We met at Cosi’s. After the meeting, I ate lunch there. If you have not had a chance to eat at Cosi’s, I highly recommend it. I had the grilled chicken TBM, which was one of the best hot sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. No ketchup needed!
After lunch, I thought I would look up Suzanne, a former Disney Store manager I used to work with. She’s currently at Williams and Sonoma in Naperville. After a short walk to her store, I was practically smothered in hugs as I walked in the door. While we’ve talked on the phone over the years, it must be at least four or five years since we’ve seen each other. Boy does the time fly. All too soon it was time to leave and pick up the boys. But it sure was nice to see Suzanne and spend a couple of minutes catching up.

Please Forgive Me….
Please forgive me if I don’t update the blog as frequently during the holidays as I have in the past. I am busy trying to get print orders out in time for Christmas and deliver wedding albums. Plus there is so much to do to get the family ready for the holidays and our upcoming vacation. More about that later.
